If it's your first time changing a pump it will be easier to follow all the directions and removed the wheel wheel lining completely so you can clearly see where everything is. After you get a handle on how things work, you can just unscrew the lining near the pump and push it out of the way as you remove the old pump.
1) Secure car with parking brake and wheel blocks so the car will not roll backward. Jack up front end of car and remove front passenger wheel.
2) Look towards the inner rear drivers side of the wheel well lining. Use a 10mm socket to remove this screw.
3) Unscrew the screw at the inner front drivers side of the wheel well lining
4) Unscrew the two screws underneath the front fascia.
5) Using a 7mm socket, unscrew the six screws on the outer edge of the wheel well lining. No need to remove the two bottom screws on the rear bottom of the lining (this holds the side molding).
6) Wiggle the lining and pull it out of the wheel well.
7) The wiper reservoir and pump and now visible. Place a basin under the reservoir to catch spilt wiper fluid.
8) Disconnect the electrical connector on the pump. Tilt the top of the pump out from its recessed spot in the reservoir. Pull up on the pump to remove it from the reservoir's diaphragm. Once you do this fluid will start pouring out so the quicker you work, the less fluid you loss.
9) Pull hard on the hose to get it off the pump. Quickly attach the hose onto the new pump and quickly push the pump back into the diaphragm. Reseat the top of the pump back into its recessed place and reattached the electrical connector.
10) Follow steps 1-6 in reverse to put everything back together.
