1) Secure car with parking brake and wheel blocks so the car will not roll.
2)
Moving the coolant bottle ('99+ models) will clear space for your hands. Pry open the clasp securing the coolant overflow hose with a flathead screwdriver.
3)
Using an 10mm socket, unscrew the two nuts holding down the coolant overflow bottle. Pull the bottle upwards and place it in between the dog bone engine mounts.
4) (For supercharged engines only) To remove the supercharger belt first locate the tensioner pulley underneath center of the coil packs.
Using a 15mm socket and long wrench, push the wrench towards the front of the car (clockwise if you are looking at the pulleys). With a free hand, pull the belt off the easiest pulley you can reach.
5) To remove the accessory belt, locate the tensioner pulley.
Using a 15mm socket and long wrench, push the wrench towards the rear of the car (counter-clockwise if you are looking at the pulleys). With a free hand, pull the belt off the easiest pulley you can reach.
6) When putting new belts back on, it will be a little harder because the new belts aren't as stretched as your old ones. I find it's easier to route the belt around all of the pulleys except for the tensioner. Put the socket through the belt before putting the socket on the tensioner bolt. As you forcibly push the wrench with one hand, slide the belt back onto the tensioner pulley.
